Did you get a chance to read this one?: Taking the first small step ... đź‘Ł

Hey Reader,

Have you heard of this free app, Timehop?

It’s an app that connects to all your social media accounts and then brings up memories of your past posts in a “1 year ago” or “5 years ago” type of format; images, videos; tweets; whatever you’ve shared in the past.

It’s a great way to see how far you’ve come on a project if you’re a visual person and have taken a photo of a plan (like I do!) 👇

Sometimes I see something I was working on and trying to perfect for SO LONG instead of just launching it and being IN IT and perfecting it while I go. I can see the fear in the old picture. The fear of stopping myself.

But in reality, all projects – no matter big or smaller – are just a bunch of small steps that lead to something bigger.

Smaller steps allow us to climb higher, faster

Sometimes we need a sign, or permission, to just go for it – and so if this is you – here’s your sign. Here’s your permission.

Go for it. And let me know what you’re working on or working towards. I love learning about what’s going on in the community.

xo Emilia

Here are some things that I’ve enjoyed the last little while and I’ll share them with you as well in hopes that you may find them useful, and maybe make your week brighter:

Here are some websites we’ve just recently rebranded through our Website Concierge package:

  • SeeLoveShare: A massive blog import from Wix to WordPress gave this fun rebrand of a knit and crochet website a huge makeover, and better user experience for those looking for patterns and community.
  • Jen McCurdy: Jen’s a counselor, therapeutic coach, mom, entrepreneur, and lover of all things big and possible. Her passion is to empower you to live the life you most wish to live. Check out her lavender themed website.

WP Website Academy Student Spotlight:

  • Sarah Jenkins Nutrition: Sarah is a registered holistic nutritionist working with individuals who are seeking relief from symptoms of depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, ADD/ADHD, or even burnout from modern stress and pressure. Check out her website she made while in the program.

Ongoing self-development and leadership work:

*I got the idea to share in bullet format from the Toi Smith weekly “It’s Monday, Again” newsletters

Hey Reader, I’ve been told by some that they admire “my marketing” and I’m always shocked when this happens, because I always feel like I’m falling behind on posting on Instagram, sharing what we’ve been up to, websites we’ve launched and who’s joined the WWA program. As one of our WWA students turned concierge clients told me last year, “I love your culture of service you’ve cultivated at The Launch It Co.,” I really try and remember that I feel the marketing isn’t as strong as it could be...
